Good Hotel Let Down by Laundry
Overall had a good experience. The location of the hotel is easy to get to thanks to the free Airport Express Hotel Shuttles from Hong Kong Central. Other forms of transport all close by, tramway, buses and MTR at Sheung Wan. Everything is not far, including places to eat and drink, etc., like Soho nearby. So no dramas getting to places either walking or using public transport.
The reception is on the fifth floor. Check-in and check-out was done very efficiently. Polite and attentive staff at reception and at the bar and restaurant on the sixth floor. Only had one meal there and it was good, as was the ample buffet breakfast every morning. One improvement perhaps, the apple juice seemed watered down. Maybe it needed a shake, but it seemed very light on content.
My room, 2618, was a double on the 26th floor with a city view. The room and bathroom size was OK considering this is Hong Kong. The air conditioning worked well and wasn’t noisy. It was set to a low temperature and high fan but it can be controlled.
Bed mattress firm and comfortable. Small fridge enough for a few drinks and snacks. Tea and coffee facilities, small safe and a couple of power points. TV was fine. It’s a Sony! Perhaps a few more English and European channels would’ve been good.
Only real gripe were the bed cover, sheets and towels that were not 100 percent clean. Various types of stains. This may not be the hotel’s fault, the laundry people, but it should be checked. The tiles in the shower at floor level had some mould in the grout. Under the sink could do with a little cleaning too. The faux timber floors were fine though.
The room was reasonably clean on arrival, the floors, desk and sofa. On the following days the housekeeping made it better. All that is needed is to approach the maid and be frank and they would do the job.
Price good for the standard of accommodation. Would I stay here again? Unless I want to try another hotel in Hong Kong to experience something different, I’d say yes, I’d be back no problems.

Note: the General Manager replied to my review (feedback) and has followed up with Food and Beverage Team and the Executive Housekeeper to address my concerns and improve the customer experience. That’s very much appreciated and I believe they’ll improve on those points.
