24 Hours In Changi Not A Problem But How About 96 Hours?

This crazy idea came to me when I was thinking about my up-and-coming four day trip to Singapore. Could I perhaps forego the reason why I’m travelling there and spend that time inside the terminals at Changi Airport instead? We know there are some long layovers at airports, but for some Australian travellers, in particular those travelling to and from Adelaide with Singapore Airlines, like me, this happens quite a lot. Especially the all-day layover when arriving early morning in Singapore from Europe and then departing (on the same day) at 23:35 on flight SQ279. This can entail layovers of approximately 18 hours either spent at the airport or a quick trip to a city hotel. We know Changi is a great airport for...

Changi Airport COVID-19 Arrival Rules

Where will they do this, if it is a specified hotel(s) or in a purpose built facility and how long for and how much it is...

Ambassador Transit Hotel Terminal 3 Changi Airport

Pricey but Quiet, Comfortable and Well Located My second stay at the Ambassador Transit Hotel Terminal 3 (Changi Airport, Singapore). Previously, several years ago, stayed for a six-hour stint in a single room (double bed) with no windows. This time booked a single with the request of a view onto the tarmac, but was given a twin close to Gates B1-B4. With the second bed the room seemed a little more spacious. It looked clean but on closer inspection one of the bed covers had a small dry stain that didn’t wash out. There was also a woman’s hair. This could have belonged to the housekeeper. Hard to know. The sheets and cushion covers seemed clean so I didn’t make a fuss. The bathrooms...
