Enjoyable Evening, Good Food & Surroundings

This was our second time dining at this restaurant for dinner. Both as a family. First time back in June 2014 when Rossana was the owner. Since then, sadly, she has passed away succumbing to cancer.

The waiters have changed too. Several times it seems over the three years. The food quality then as for this visit was about the same, very good. The service too the same, but probably a little sharper this time due to the place being full and with only two people serving. One being the male manager that evening. The other, a young lady who spoke good English. She took two nice family photos for us.

We ordered several different dishes, my wife and daughter had a meat dish with side salad, I ordered the tordelli (tortelli), ravioli Lucchese style served in a ragu sauce. My son had a lasagna. Later I added a mixed salad. For drinks, us adults had a glass each of white wine, an Italian wine, but can’t remember the name. Probably should’ve had a bottle it would’ve been better priced too. The kids had a juice each. We also had bread and some water. In the end the manager gave the kids free biscuits.

The prices are in the mid-range. We spent all up Euro 73, cover charge (coperto) included. Overall an enjoyable evening out in the fresh air of the Piazza Anfiteatro.
